SKATEBOARD FUN FAIR ATRACTION

First of all, a luna park on holiday I can have, a big ass amusementpark with lot's of rollercoasters and the right people around me I really can enjoy once a year.. but I aint that found on fun fairs.
Each year in the Dead Area's capital Hoorn there is this big fun fair. I'm born and raised in the Dead Area so know all about the typical traditions that comes and goes around year after year.. so if I wanted or not I had to go again and visit the fair.
For moral supports I brought my girlfriend with me. Just seconds after the exit Hoorn we got a pleasant welcome with a giant billboard mentioning that it is "Kermis" again. So you can imagine we where stoked!
First thing I notice was that I didn't recognize any of the faces in the crowd. Normally You meet up with family, friends, people from the past and or present. But living now already more than 3 years 60 km south/west from Hoorn made me feel like a stranger... can't tell if it sucked or was actually not that bad!? Passing the local punk pub "swaf" I heard (as traditional as it can be!) some tide live played punk rock.. didn't felt the need to drop by cause we where here only for the fair and had just returned the night before from the south of france.. so we walked on.
.... And there it was... the atraction where I already heard about the "skateboard"... you all understand I had to try this thing, if only for the sake of sharing it here on the net with all of you!
Basicly this ride sucked from beginning till the end. It is a big spinn non stop that rolls from one end to another.. it stinks. Also the spraypainted spitting image of mr Hawk (not on these ripped pic.) gave me a funny feeling. I was glad it was over after 4 / 5 minutes. Yet maybe funny to mention, the deadbeat behind the mic. was saying stupid things like "touchdown" & "here we goooooo..." as he at least would name some skateboard tricks it would make it more likley to get a bit off a skate feeling hahaha.
